Fenbendazol possesses a wide spectrum of antihelminthic properties and is active against mature forms, grubs and eggs of ascarids nematodes the gastric tract and lungs, cestodes living in cattle, sheep, goats, swine, horses, dogs and cats.
The mechanism of action is based on the interruption of energy processes and destruction of microtubules in the helmint stomach cells, which results in the parasiteĺs death.
It is eliminated from the organism unchanged with excrements and in smaller amounts with urine and milk.
In recommended dosage the drug has no teratogenic, embryotoxic mutagenic or allergenic effect. ect.

FENBENGRAN« should be administered once in combination with feedstuff, individually or by group method in the following dosage:

For treatment of diarrhea in foals caused by Strongyloides westeri FENBENGRAN« is administered once in the dose of 50 mg/kg of active substance.
In case of invasion by ciatostomum, encapsulated in the mucous membrane, FENBENGRAN« is administered in a daily dose of 7.5 mg/kg of active substance during 5 days.
Individual oversensitivity to fenbendazol.
FENBENGRAN« can be administered during pregnancy and lactation. It should not be applied for treatment of kittens and puppies younger than 3 weeks.
No adverse reaction to other medical substances has been registered.
Slaughter and butchering of cattle, sheep, goats and swine and horses is allowed only 7 days after the dehelmintisation. The meat of animals slaughtered prior to the expiry of the indicated period can be used for fur animal feeding or for production of tankage.
Milk of animals treated with FENBENGRAN« should not be used for nutrition purposes within 6 days after the last administration of the drug, or should be fed to animals after boiling.
FENBENGRAN« should be stored with precaution (List B) at - 5 to 30 °C in a dry place away from direct light. Validity period in prescribed conditions ľ 5 years from the date of production.
