A yellow-brown transparent solution for oral administration produced in glass or plastic bottles of 10; 100; 200; 250; 500 or 1000 ml.
1 ml of DOLINK « contains 100 mg of doxycycline hydrochloride and 100 mg of lincomycin hydrochloride.
Doxycycline and lincomycin contained in DOLINK« have bacteriostatic effect. Doxycycline is active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms: aerobicľ Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., including Str. pneumoniae; aerobic sporogenous bacteria ľ Bacillus anthracis; aerobic non-sporogenous bacteria ľ Listeria monocytogenes; anaerobic sporogenous bacteria ľ Clostridium spp.; facultative anaerobic bacteria ľ Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Enterobacter spp., Shigella spp., Klebsiella spp., Bordetella spp; Corynebacterium spp., as well as Spirochetes, Mycoplasma, Bacteroides spp. Treponema, Rickettsia, Chlamydia psittaci, Erlichia and Anaplasma.
Lincomycin, an active substance of DOLINK«, is primarily active against the majority of gram-positive microorganisms, including Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pneumococcus, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, Haemophilus, Bordetella, Actinomyces, Treponema hyodysenteriae and Mycoplasma spp.
The mode of action of DOLINK« is based on the suppression of protein synthesis on the level of ribosomes due to the fixation of the antibiotic with the 50S-subunit of the ribosome and the inhibition of protein synthesis in the microbal cell, breaking the connection of transport aminoacyl-RNA with 30S-subunit of the ribosome membrane.
The antibacterial components are practically completely adsorbed from the gastric tract and penetrate the majority of organs and tissues of the organism. In the event of DOLINK« administration with drinking water the curative content is reached in the birdĺs body in 3 hours and maintained during the whole course of treatment. DOLINK« is eliminated from the organism primarily with bile and faeces.
- Treatment of bacterial infections in poultry caused by microorganisms sensitive to the combination of doxycycline and lincomycin.
DOLINK« should be administered for treatment of poultry dissolved in water in proportion 1 ml 1l per drinking water for a period of 3-5 days. The solution is prepared depending on the water consumption ratio per 24 hours. During treatment poultry should receive only water containing DOLINK«.
DOLINK« should not be administered together with bactericide antibiotics, indirect anticoagulants, barbiturates and muscle relaxants. Drugs containing antacids, metal ions (Al3+, Mg2+, Ca2+), transform the doxycyclines to inactive chelates, thus reducing their clinical effect.
The slaughter of poultry for meat processing is allowed not earlier than in 7 days after the last administration of DOLINK«. The meat of poultry slaughtered prior to the withdrawal period shall be used for animal feeding or for production of of tankage.
DOLINK« should be stored with precaution (List B) at 5 to 25 °C in a dry place away from direct light. Validity period in conditions prescribed by the instruction ľ 1 year from the date of production.Back to catalogue
