Clindamycin, lincosamide antibiotic, has a bacteriostatic effect against gram-positive microorganisms, including penicillinase-producing strains; aerobic asporogenous and sporogenous bacteries; anaerobic sporogenous bacteries; and also against mycoplasms and some gram-positive germs.
Spectinomycin, aminocyclic antibiotic, has a bacteriostatic effect against some gram-negative microorganisms, including Salmonella and Escherichia spp.
Combination of clindamycin and spectinomycin reinforces their action against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including mycoplasms.
After oral administration, clindamycin is absorbed quickly from gastrointestinal tract and penetrates into many organs and tissues.
Spectinomycin is characterized by malabsorption and takes effect in the intestinal tract only. The components of the drug are eliminated preemptively unmodified with faeces.
KLINDASPECTIN« is a water-soluble powder for treatment and prevention of bacterial infections in poultry, including colibacillosis in combination with mycoplasmosis.
KLINDASPECTIN« is used in combination with feedstuff in the quantity of 150 mg/kg of body weight or with drinking water in the quantity of 80 g of the preparation per 100 L for a period of 5 to 7 days. During the period of administration, the poultry should be administered only the water containing KLINDASPECTIN«. The solution is prepared on the basis of daily necessity of poultry in water.
There are no contraindications if KLINDASPECTIN« is used in compliance with instruction, except hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
KLINDASPECTIN« cannot be administered to laying hens, including administration during a period of 20 days prior to the laying.
Slaughtering of poultry for meat processing is allowed not earlier than in 4 days after the last administration of KLINDASPECTIN«. The meat of poultry slaughtered before the expiration of the withdrawal period can be used for animal feeding or production of tankage.
KLINDASPECTIN« should be stored with precaution (list B) at up to 30 °C in a dry place away from direct light. Validity period in conditions prescribed by the instruction - 3 years from the date of production.
